MNS Low Voltage Switchgear

Built on the proven modular-steel C-frame, our MNS LV drawer-type switchgear offers 1/4-, 1/2-, 1- and 2-tier withdrawable units rated 63 A – 630 A that can be removed or swapped under energized busbars-no shutdown-cutting plant downtime to near zero. Internal segregation up to Form 4 Type 7 with IP42-IP54 doors and arc-proof flaps withstands 100 kA / 1 s fault level and 85 kA internal arc for 0.5 s (IEC 61439-1&2, IEEE C37.20.1), protecting both operators and upstream transformers.

Smart accessories include motor-operated racking, shutter position sensors and an embedded IEC 61850 Ethernet gateway that streams temperature, current and breaker status to SCADA or cloud, enabling predictive maintenance and 15 % energy savings through load-balancing algorithms.

Copper busbars are tin-plated and sleeved in Class-F epoxy, limiting temperature rise to 50 K at 6 300 A while keeping impedance < 0.25 mΩ; top or bottom cable entry and reversible door hinges allow side-by-side or back-to-back mounting in only 600 mm depth, freeing 25 % floor space versus fixed-type panels.

Panels ship fully wired and FAT-tested; lifting eyes and knock-down side plates let a two-man team install a 24-way section in under two hours. Standard finish is RAL 7035 epoxy-polyester, marine-grade C5-M optional. MNS is GL, DNV, CE and ISO 9001 approved, seismic-qualified to 0.4 g, altitude 4 000 m, and ready for energization 24 hours after delivery.
